Greg Jackson was born and raised in Shallowater, TX and graduated high school in Waxahachie, TX. Then, after six years of college and degree changes, he transferred a few credits from Texas Tech to South Plains and received a diploma in the mail a week later. Seriously.
Prior to coming on board at Experience Life, Greg was a booking agent at a local concert venue, a systems consultant for an audio-visual integration firm, and a fairly unsuccessful independent concert promoter. Despite the hundreds of concerts attended and all the time spent backstage, however, he never really felt like he fit in.
Having come to the end of himself, Greg committed his life to Christ in October of 2008. Quickly thereafter, a silly billboard caught his eye while driving. It said "Experience Life is killing me. -Satan." Greg ran home and consulted the Googles, which pointed him to an odd church in a skating rink. He visited and, for the first time EVER, filled out a card. He was soon volunteering with the media department, and eventually became the lighting designer. You can probably figure out what happened after that.
Greg has never been happier than he is now working at Experience Life. He finally feels like he belongs where he is, and has faith that the Lord will move as long as His will is sought. He does not let goofy things like power outages and quirky projectors become a distraction from the goal of expanding His kingdom.
