Clayton Walker was raised in Lubbock and gave his life to Jesus at a young age. As a junior in high school, Clayton started passionately pursuing the Lord Jesus and his life was changed. As a senior in high school, Clayton believed the Lord was calling him to ministry and started volunteering with the youth ministry he grew up in. Soon thereafter, Clayton became a youth ministry intern for two years, the youth minister for four years, and then the college/young adult pastor for two years all in the church he grew up attending. Clayton received his Bachelor's Degree in Christian Ministry from Wayland Baptist.
Clayton met Darby in seventh grade and they have been best friends ever since. They got married July of 2003 and have two sons, Levi and Cobin.
Clayton and Darby joined Experience Life May 2009 because they wanted to be a part of a moving of God that changed the world and believe eLife is experiencing just that! Clayton serves as the LifeHouse Pastor overseeing elife's cell group movement, life stage ministries, and West Texas church planting strategy. Clayton is passionate about reaching Lubbock and the world through multiplying cell leaders, cell groups, and planting churches.
