Experience Community
- We envision a church which focuses on building community by bringing friends and neighbors together for spiritual discussion through the multiplication of LifeHouses
- We envision a church which starts 1,000 LifeHouses to connect with over 10,000 people
Experience Service
- We envision a church which values prayer and devotes an evening each week to intercession.
- We envision a church which intentionally disciples members to become LifeHouse leaders in their own neighborhood
- We envision a church which serves the community by meeting “felt needs” in Jesus' name
- We envision a church which hosts a missions training center to raise up missionaries and send them to the ends of the earth
- We envision a church which utilizes Lubbock's reputation as the "Hub City" to become a hub for a church planting movement which starts churches in other parts of Lubbock, the state of Texas, the US, and around the world. We envision planting at least one church per year from our inception

- Intimate Relationship with Jesus
We value, above all things, the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ which provides forgiveness of sin and eternal life to all who will turn from their sin and put their trust in Him. The Bible clearly says that God desires to know each of us personally. Eternal life is that “we may know God” and experience Him in an intimate and life-changing relationship (John 3:16, John 17:3, John 10:10, Romans 5:8, Romans 6:23, Romans 10:9, Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 Corinthians 15:3-6, 1 Peter 3:18). - Biblical Community
We value building authentic friendships with others as we grow in our relationship with Jesus. We desire to live life together, to serve one another, to encourage each other, to study God’s Word together, to pray for one another, and to share the gospel together. We believe that God created us for community and each person yearns to be a part of a biblical community of friends (Acts 2:42-47, Acts 4:32-35, Hebrews 10:24-25). - God's Word
We value God’s Word as the ultimate source of truth and the guide by which we are to believe and act. We aim to teach and obey all that is written in it and to help others do the same. We will base everything we do as a church on the Word of God (Psalm 119:9,11,89,105, Matthew 28:18-20, 2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Timothy 4:2, Hebrews 4:12-13). - Corporate Prayer
We value gathering together corporately to pray and intercede for one another and for those in need. We believe that our church should be devoted to prayer both individually and corporately for revival and spiritual awakening in our community and around the world. Jesus taught that his church was to be a church that constantly prayed. We desire to see men and women come together one evening each week to pray that God would move in power (Matthew 21:13, Luke
18:1, Acts 4:31, Colossians 4:2, 1 Timothy 2:1-3, 1 Timothy 2:8). - Exciting Worship
We value a worship experience each week that is exciting, energetic, and celebratory. We believe that we have something to be excited about because God is incredible and his good news is powerfully changing lives. We desire to always be filled with joy and thankfulness for God’s grace and mercy (Psalm 66:1-4, Psalm 145, Psalm 150, Luke 19:37-40, Romans 12:1-2, Ephesians 5:18-20, Revelation 5:11-14). - Sacrificial Service
We value serving others with no strings attached to show people Christ’s love in a practical way. We believe that we need to meet people’s physical/emotional needs in order to earn the right to speak to them about their spiritual needs. We want to be a church which is known for its willingness to give away time and money to help others in their time of need (Matthew 20:26-28, John 13:1-5, Acts 2:45, Acts 4:34-35, Ephesians 4:11-12, 1 John 3:16-18). - Zealous Evangelism
We value telling others the good news about Jesus’ death and resurrection and the way in which it has changed our lives. We believe that the Lord gives us a clear mandate to go and tell the whole world about his offer of forgiveness and eternal life. We will always look for opportunities to tell people how they can begin a relationship with God (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 5:19, Mark 16:15, Luke 4:43, Luke 10:2, Acts 5:42, Acts 26:27-29, Romans 1:16, 2 Corinthians 5:17-21). - Intentional Discipleship
We value discipling believers to maturity so that they can go and disciple others. We believe that we will be most effective if we concentrate on the number of disciples we are making rather than the number of attenders we have. We plan to accomplish this through a year long training program which will equip believers and then send them out to disciple others (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 8:34-37, Luke 14:25-35, Acts 14:21-22, Acts 28:30-31, 1 Thessalonians 2:8, 2 Timothy 2:2). - Strategic Multiplication
We value becoming a church planting movement which plants churches both near and far in order to reach each city and people group for Jesus Christ. We will do this by multiplying LifeHouses and congregations until a city is reached. Our initial goal is to plant at least one church per year (Luke 9:1-6, Acts 14:21-23, Acts 20:18-32, 2 Timothy 2:2). - World Missions
We value people from every tribe, language, people, and nation hearing the gospel and responding in faith to the offer of forgiveness. We believe that the end will not come until the good news has been preached in all the world. We also believe that we can speed the coming of the Lord by taking the gospel into places where it has never gone (Matthew 24:14, Matthew 28:18-20, Luke 10:2, 2 Peter 3:11, Revelation 5:9).
In essential beliefs - we have unity.
"There is one Body and one Spirit...there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all..." Eph 4:4-6
In non-essential beliefs - we have liberty.
"Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters... Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls... So then each of us will give an account of himself to God... So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God." Romans 14:1,4,12,22
In all our beliefs - we show charity.
"...If I hold in my mind not only all human knowledge but also the very secrets of God, and if I have the faith that can move mountains -- but I have no love, I amount to nothing at all." 1 Cor 13:2
1. About God
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.
Gen 1:1,27,27; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14
2. About Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven's glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Matthew 1:22,23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5; 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14,15; 1 Corinthians 15:3,4; Romans 1:3,4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Timothy 6:14,15; Titus 2:13
3. About the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift when they are saved. As Christians, we seek to live under his control daily.
2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13, 14:16,17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 5:18
4. About the Bible
The Bible is God's Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture of error.
2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 1:13; Psalm 119:105,160, 12:6; Proverbs 30:5
5. About Human Beings
People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God's creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called "sin". This attitude separates people from God and causes many problems in life.
Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1,2
6. About Salvation
Salvation is God's free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith, we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.
Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8,9; John 14:6, 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1
